Chari’s passion for Pilates is a direct result of the positive impact it has had on her own body. In 2011, after the birth of her third child, she was in chronic back, shoulder and neck pain when a friend recommended Pilates. Chari knew immediately after her first class that Pilates is life changing, and she has been practicing since then every chance she gets. She trained under Colleen Carboni, owner of Pilates Chattanooga, in Classical Pilates for 400 hours while living in Chattanooga, TN. She also completed the Anatomy and Physiology course work at Chattanooga State in 2015 to better understand how the health benefits of Pilates relate to the body. Then, in 2016, she moved to Memphis, TN where she received Stott Pilates Reformer training through Ballet Memphis Pilates. Finally, in 2018, Chari moved to Dayton, OH where she completed her Stott Pilates Mat training. Chari loves helping each client discover mindful movement and journeying towards a balanced body. She believes movement should not only feel good but should make you feel alive!
