Along with her Bachelors of Arts, Tamara also has a Masters from Wayne State University in Secondary Education with an emphasis on Physical Education through the Kinesiology, Health, and Sports Studies Department. She worked in this department through the College of Education
and the research assistant, studying and designing workout programs and materials for youth and families.
Additionally, Tamara has been trained in hatha yoga and Classical Pilates. She teaches youth and adults yoga, Pilates, health, physical education, and adaptive physical education. Her concentrations include prenatal, postnatal, adaptive physical education (for persons with disabilities), and all other awesome and amazing bodies!. Tamara is enthusiastic and passionate about health and wellness and helping people feel confident, strong and balanced in their mind, body, and spirit.
Most importantly, Tamara is a mother of an amazing 13 year-old daughter, Grace. Tamara loves watching Grace in all of her sports and activities including soccer, basketball, lacrosse, softball, track, and playing the violin.
