Stacey Gossett has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from Urbana University and she is a certified Personal Trainer through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) since 2003. Stacey has 13 years of experience working with clients helping them
achieve their health and wellness goals. She continues to love every minute of this passion she has for living a healthy lifestyle and making it fun for others to experience these healthy changes too.
Stacey has her Pilates certification through Stott and has been enjoying teaching Mat Pilates and Reformer for 11 years. She is also a certified Piloxing instructor. Stacey believes that Pilates has been the key ingredient to coming back stronger than before, from two major back injuries, one of which included back surgery. She loves to workout, dance, bike, and stay very active and is able to do so without pain, as a result of staying strong in her core through Pilates focusing on postural alignment, stabilization, flexibility, and balance. Pilates has allowed Stacey to learn the meaning of a strong core and she believes that everyone, no matter what level of fitness, can benefit from Pilates. In the fast pace of life, most people miss out on understanding how beneficial learning to breathe and intentionally slow down to focus on body awareness can be, but Stacey loves teaching people about this as a result of the great benefits she has experienced personally. She feels it is absolutely possible to overcome injuries safely and to help others progress to wellness, overall health, and strength. (While enjoying it!) Pilates is a great way to work toward an overall balance of strength and stability while releasing tension and stress. You will leave your workouts feeling worked but good with an increased energy!
