Balance for Vitality – Balancing workshop with Julia Lamm
We all know the importance of balance as we get older & if we don’t work on the muscles that support balance & coordination, we are more prone to falls & injuries.
Join us this Saturday June 8th from 11:30-1:30 to explore your balancing potential on various surfaces & flat ground in this creative, fun, playful & skillful workshop. We will be building our skills from the ground up in an approachable & progressive method, targeting feet, legs, hips & core. Julie will use some creative props to create this fun experience.

Feet are what carry you through every day at work or play. Feet are wonderful, marvelous intricate, useful yet very neglected. Painful unhappy feet can affect you emotionally and physically. The way you walk can determine back, hip and knee pain.
In this innovative and playful workshop, we will explore the power of the feet and how that relates to standing, squatting, walking. This workshop is designed to liberate your feet with corrective exercises, strengthening while creating awareness and lasting relief. Expect to be challenged in a fun and supportive environment.

Taught by Julia Lamm, E-RYT-500 and Restorative Exercise Specialist. Julia teaches yoga and movement heavily influenced by the science of human movement, biomechanics and her innate and life long curiosity of the workings of the human body. Explore playful, innovative, and creative variations of movement modalities to instill strength, mobility, joint health, and motor control.
