Want to Manage Stress Better? Stay calm and centered when you have a lot to do? Join us and learn to use your breathing, your mental intentions, and your present movement awareness to center yourself quickly, no matter what is happening all around you. Tai Chi and its “parent” Qigong can get you in touch with your internal flow and power so that you can ” go with the flow” in your daily life – even on those seemingly impossible busy days.
Harvard Medical School has called Tai Chi “Medication in Motion” and has concluded that it helps keep us neurologically, structurally, and psychologically in the following ways:
Vitality: Lowers blood pressure, increases immunity, stimulates stem cell production
Healing: Facilitates recovery from illness, anxiety, depression
Endurance: Allows coherent cardio/pulmonary response
Longevity: Improved memory, coordination, bone density, mobility, range of motion
Learning to be alert and yet relaxed at the same time.
