Kayla has worked in women’s health as a labor and delivery and postpartum nurse since 2014. She practiced mat Pilates for several years, but after a few injuries and alignment issues during and after her two pregnancies she began to understand Pilates for what it is – a complete system. She found it essential to learn more about intelligent movement, correct breathing, and improving posture. Kayla is a Level 1 instructor classically trained through Power Pilates. She holds certification as a pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist and has completed continuing education and workshops in anatomy and Pilates for the prenatal population.
