Mary Coalson

Pilates was the first form of exercise that finally felt right, made sense, and provided positive results.  Pilates became a passion for Mary, as she learned more about its history, and its intersections with Dance and Fine Arts theory.  Practicing Pilates to improve posture, breathing, concentration, mindfulness, and balance has had a real positive impact on Mary’s life.  She is excited about sharing these principles and concepts with her clients. Mary is Stott Certified in Essential and Intermediate Pilates.  She also has additional training in Fascial Movement, and Fascial Release techniques.  Her favorite part about instructing is helping her clients build body awareness, and helping them feel more in control of their own wellness.

Mary has a background in Fine Arts, Art History, and Landscape Horticulture. She enjoys gardening, hiking with her dog, concerts, and traveling with her husband and two children.
