My Pilates Studio is so honored to be a part of the Pink Ribbon Girls program offering the ladies complimentary Pilates mat classes to aid in their recovery, strengthen, flexibility & an opportunity to bond with others who have shared their journey. To use Pilates for purposes of healing & building friendships takes what we do to a new level of importance & gratitude for being a part of such an incredible organization. Their mission is to “Balance the fear and uncertainty that breast cancer brings to individuals and families by providing direct services, education, and support. Shoulder, Upper Back, Arm and Wrist Pain, along with postural alignment dysfunction is at an all-time high. We LOVE our cell phones, mp3 players, tablets and kindle. But there are consequences from the downward position of our heads and forward thrust of the cervical spine that causes excessive strain on our entire spinal system.
This workshop will guide you through unique Yoga Tune Up® Self-massage techniques and corrective exercises that will roll out tension, improve your breathing and break dysfunctional movement patterns in the upper body.

(Therapy balls are most beneficial when closest to skin & muscles – please wear light clothing)
NO Yoga experience required
Feel free to bring your own mat, blocks & strap. Equipment is available at the studio if you do not have your own.
My Pilates Studio is in search of a new member of our team. Summer’s Tuesday evening 4:30-7:30pm shift is now available due to high demand for her to instruct clients at that time. Work in a fun, feel-good environment with flexible, part time hours. Position requires an outgoing, friendly personality that enjoys working with people. Previous receptionist and computer experience a plus. Perform a variety of duties including meet and greet clients, answer phones, educate potential clients about Pilates, take payments and enter client information into computer. Will be trained on studio software program. Word and Outlook skills required. Must be detail oriented. Can work the desk in exchange for Pilates sessions.
Shift open is Tuesday evenings 4:30-7:30.
One Saturday per month required from 8:30am-1pm.
Must be flexible to fill in for other shifts (am & pm) as needed due to vacation or illness, life happenings!
