Qigong and Tai Chi teaches you how to quiet the mind, gain more freedom of movement, transform stress into vitality, and cultivate more energy and harmony in your life. Explore the powerful, rhythmic, flowing movements of Qigong—China’s ancient wellness system. Combined with simple breathing techniques and mindful awareness, Qigong opens the body and its energy systems in a therapeutic way, increasing overall wellness, promoting relaxation, and providing more strength and flexibility to one’s body and mind. In addition to the simple Qigong warmups, you will learn a meditative Tai Chi form as taught by Mantak Chia and inspired by the Yang style short form. Our Prenatal/Postnatal Pilates classes are designed specifically for the changing pregnant body, as well as the recovering body of a new mom. These Pilates exercises target the key muscles that support the growing belly, and strengthen the muscles that will help during labor, delivery and postpartum recovery.
All levels welcome No previous Pilates experience necessary. Doctor’s note/release required

How is this different than working with the other instructors?
Apprentices are just starting their “Reformer Instruction”.
They will have reviewed and practiced the “Essential Reformer” exercises under the supervision of a STOTT Instructor Trainer. They are training to “teach” and need the experience of working with individuals.
The pace may be a little slower and reference to manuals may be needed, but you will receive wonderful attention and instruction!
$35 per session or $256 for a package of 8 sessions.
